I think we can agree that pizza is universally adored by people all over the world. While pizza and its varying types are delicious, its often not the ideal item to keep your stomach flat and your body composition on point. 1 slice of cheese pizza hovers around 285 calories with 10 grams of fat, 36 grams of carbohydrates, and 12 grams of protein. While sugar is relatively low, sodium is quite high at around 640 milligrams per slice. Two slices of pizza later and you’ll be more than half way to the daily recommended allowance for sodium.
My passion for fitness has led me to find great tasting and unique meals, snacks, and fuel options to help keep my body healthy and extremely fit. So, while the occasional slice or two on a cheat meal day wont completely sabotage your fitness goals, if you are serious about body composition, I’ve put togther a nice snack alternative.
