Sarah Boyle (26) from Staffordshire in England is the mother of one-year-old son Teddy who was just six months old when refused breastfeeding.
It was the first sign that something is wrong. Soon arrived the diagnosis – breast cancer. Sarah says Teddy, the sixth month old baby suddenly became very upset when trying to breastfeed, especially when he would be near the right breast.
She was trying to breastfeed Teddy in a different position over the next few weeks but he did not like.
-He was unhappy. And I was. Heartbreaking is when a baby of eight months rejects its mother, she said.
Because of his behavior, Sara decided to go to the doctor and ask again and scanned the cyst for years know it was there. Until then she did tests twice to determine that there is no risk of cancer and the results were negative.
Benign cyst in the right breast was diagnosed in 2013. When she asked doctors to re-scan it they told her there was no reason for it. But the son still refused lactation, and then she noticed that the cyst became larger and she had a pain and that her breast changed the form. Biopsies confirmed cancer.
